Chris Gill is a Registered Professional Biologist with over 25 years of experience in applied conservation biology, primarily focused on developing mitigative actions to manage habitat for species at risk and locally significant wildlife that may be impacted by land development activities (e.g., Northern Goshawk). Chris has also designed and implemented several large-scale island restoration projects in British Columbia and implemented a recovery program for Burrowing Owls in cooperation with the Upper Nicola Band.
In 2014, Chris received the prestigious Parks Canada Agency CEO Award of Excellence for his work on Haida Gwaii island restoration projects. He has also published several peer reviewed scientific papers and is a member of the Lewis’s Woodpecker recovery team, as well as a board member of the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society.
